ACTS 3:19 Change your mind and purpose and be converted, that your mistakes may be erased and times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.
Sometimes our lives take twist and turns that we didn't expect or plan. It's easy to wake up one day and say "How did I get here??!! Getting out of that situation can be easier said than done. The good news is we can change our minds and go in a different direction.
Another thing that can get us off of the course we have for our lives are the mistakes of our past. We have all made mistakes, some big and some small. Sometimes those mistakes are so big we haven't even forgiven ourselves. Jesus died so that any mistakes we've made can be forgiven. The only thing that we need to do to receive this forgiveness is accept it. Accept it by believing in what Jesus did for us and the power of his blood.
Who are we and What do we do?
REFRESH Women's Outreach is a program designed to restore women to spiritual healing while supplying feminine products and other items that may be burdensome to purchase when on a fixed income and resources are limited.
Women are the pillars of our community. They hold our families together. They care for their children, their husbands, they may also take care of things in the church. A lot of women care for elderly parents, or young grandchildren. Caring for so many others, it is very common for her to neglect herself. This can look like different things for different women.
REFRESH is here to help women find peace, the peace of God. Spiritual healing starts from within. The power of God dwells on the inside of us when we are born again. As human beings we are tri part, we are a spirits, who possess souls and we live in bodies. (1 Thes 5:23)
Our spirits are the real us, as born again Christians this is the part of us that is just like God. But to gain the power that dwells within us, we need the word of God, and with the word of God that we receive, we must practically apply it to our lives. REFRESH believes in restoration from the inside out.
We at REFRESH work with women by supplying natural needs as well as spiritual. When essential basic needs are being met it makes it easier to focus and deal with the things that life often throws at women.
